Making 10

Today we used cuisenaire rods to make 10. We then used our whiteboards to record our numbers. 

Turkey Trot

At our school, we have a tradition called the Turkey Trot. The Friday before Thanksgiving the whole school goes for a run. This year, we decided to make turkey head bands for the run.

Patterns

We have spent the last month learning about patterns. We have learned to identify the pattern core. We have created, extended and copied patterns. We have also learned how to create increasing patterns. We can create increasing patterns as well as extend them. We can explain our patterns.  Next we will be exploring numbers.
