Exploration Centres

Three mornings a week we start our day with Exploration Centres. During this time we wonder, connect and investigate. We create theories and investigate these theories. 

Exploration with Magnets

We have been exploring with magnets. I set out some magnets and a compass during Exploration  Centres and watched what the learners did with the magnets. We quickly discovered that the wands can go into the desk and still move paper clips and other magnets around. We will continue to learn and explore with the magnets.

Sharks

We have been going shark crazy lately. Our room is so interested in learning about sharks. We have been writing facts about sharks, wonders about sharks, painting and drawing sharks as well as measuring and comparing sharks.
