Morning Card Games

On Wednesdays and Fridays we start our morning with math activities. Everyone chooses their own math activities. The last Friday before Spring Break was a popular morning for cards. 

Word Work

Today for word work we looked in our books for words that have two vowels positioned side by side, like ea, ou, ai, oa and ay. We have been learning about long vowels. We had a great time searching for words in our books and then writing the words on post it notes. 

Math Morning

We always start our Wednesdays and Fridays with math centres. Sometimes we play math games with out friends and sometimes we try math activities on the iPads.
